Brussels Sprouts with Toasted Almonds by Michael Quinn

You either love them or hate them, but this is a way I think most people will grow to love the humble Brussels sprout.


  • 450g of Brussels sprouts finely sliced
  • 60g butter
  • 2 tblsp of toasted flaked almonds
  • Salt and pepper


Slice the sprouts very thinly and cook them in boiling water with butter for a few seconds.

Strain and top with the roasted almond flakes.
