Ardkeen Artisan Food & Coffee at Shaws Department Store offers Waterford city centre customers the high-quality product curation and coffee expertise Ardkeen Quality Food Store is renowned for.
Replicating our well established ‘Dunmore Road’ store barista coffee menu together with a selection of fresh sandwiches, wraps, and bowls made with the finest seasonal produce.
The store also features a broad range of small-batch Irish producers, made instore cakes and Artisan breads together with quality gourmet ingredients from further afield.
The role involves delivering excellent coffee and customer service in a busy retail environment.
Full barista training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving coffee to Ardkeen standards
- Providing friendly, efficient customer service
- Assisting with food preparation and service
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous customer service experience (advantageous)
- Positive, outgoing, and hardworking attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent spoken and written English
- HACCP knowledge desirable (training provided)
