From Grass to Great Taste with Freezin’ Friesian 🌱🍨

This Sunday, we’re celebrating a brand that’s keeping things simple, honest, and seriously delicious -Freezin’ Friesian.

Brothers David, Ivan, and Tom Kiersey run Ballyhussa Farm just outside Kilmacthomas, County Waterford. It’s here, on rolling pastures and under open skies, that their Friesian cows graze year-round - producing the rich, creamy milk that forms the heart of their ice cream.


Inspired by their mother Grace’s original recipe, the brothers launched Freezin’ Friesian in 2018 with a focus on flavour, quality, and knowing exactly where each ingredient comes from.Every scoop is made on the farm using milk from their own cows and the finest Irish ingredients -no artificial preservatives, no shortcuts.

The result? Proper ice cream with bold, honest flavours like Brownie & Honeycomb and Sea Salt & Caramel that speak for themselves.

Their commitment doesn’t stop at taste — they also farm with the future in mind, using solar energy, planting clover for soil health, and packing everything in compostable materials.
