Inspired by Korea's love of fried chicken, Chimac's range of sauces were dreamt up in the heart of Dublin by chef Garret FitzGerald.
Chimac was first set up as a restaurant in Dublin's Aungier Street with their inception coming from the Koreans love for the combo of fried chicken and beer. Pretty much a national pastime, Chimac comes from “chi”, short for “chikin” plus “mac” from "maekju", Korean for beer.
Now, with their new homemade sauces, Chimac combine traditional Korean flavours with Irish ingredients and techniques resulting in a range of sauces that are truly unique and irresistibly good.
"We're so delighted to bring what started as a dream in a small restaurant to homes and plates across Ireland".
