From Tenuta di Gracciano, one of the oldest producers in the Montepulciano area. The vineyard villa, built in the early 19th century is surrounded by an Italian garden that dates back to the 1800’s. Blackthorn Gentile 90%, Merlot 10%. Fermentation and maceration on the skins in steel at controlled temperature (28° C) with indigenous yeasts for about 15 days with daily pumping over. Red fruits, especially cherry, raspberry on the nose. Dry, fresh, evident with silky tannins. Thanks to its freshness, this is a very versatile wine, hence suitable for the whole meal. Excellent with meat and sauces, cured meats, medium-aged cheeses, richer fish.
