Jaybees Bakery

Jaybees Bakery is run by our local Amish-Mennonite community near Dunmore East. They supply us with a wide variety of delicious home-baked cakes, including their famous carrot cake, rich fruit cake, brownies, and cookies, using only free range eggs and genuine creamery butter in their baking. During the Christmas season we cannot keep stock of their now legendary mince pies – a pack of six pretty all butter pastry casings filled with their own recipe, divine, aromatic, moist mincemeat. As an a-side, the community also run a small petrol station and convenience store which sells what most would agree is the best ‘99’ ice-cream on the planet!
