Julian and Helen Armitage live in the beautiful South Tipperary countryside, very close to the River Suir and the Waterford border. For years, they have used the produce of the hedgerow to create interesting foods and drinks for their family and friends. In 2013, they started a company, Irish Hedgerow, and crafted a range of Sparkling Elderflower Refresher Drinks, to share a passion for the fabulous flavours of nature that can be enjoyed from native plants.
Irish Hedgerow Sparkling Elderflower Drinks are an exciting way to experience the delicacies that grow naturally in the Irish countryside. The wild elderflowers from which Julian & Helen craft drinks are handpicked from hedgerows near Drangan, Cloneen and Newcastle and further afield in South Tipp and North Waterford. The water is certified Irish mineral water and they take time to ensure that the other ingredients are GMO-free. Nature produces such marvellous flavours, fragrances and textures that they feel it is a shame to mess with them!
