From a small kitchen just outside Clonakilty, every batch of fudge is made to order. Using the cream of West Cork butter, Mella carefully makes their fudge the old fashioned way. We produce a crumbly style of buttery fudge, giving a delicate balance between salty and sweet.
Mella started making fudge with her mother in their kitchen at home in Bantry back in the 80s, and after much experimenting and trying every recipe they could find, they decided on the very best recipe, that produces our unique crumbly buttery fudge. Today, using small batch table top cookers, it’s possible to make the fudge in a similar way to produce that original taste.
