Wild About is a multi-award winning, environmentally sustainable, pure artisan producer; creating a range of seasonal foods from fresh produce, sourced locally and grown on their permaculture farm, Co. Wexford.

Winner - Most Innovative Artisan Product 2019

Gooseberry Marmalade. Their delicious take on a traditional marmalade using local seasonal Irish gooseberries as the main ingredient. Great on toast or fresh baked bread for breakfast.

Winner - Silver- Blas na hÉireann 2019

Blackbettys Bramble Jam. Deseeded, Wexford blackberries & spiced rum make for an unique smooth tasting autumn jam. Spread it on toast or scones, warm and pour over brownies, ice cream, or even porridge.

Winner - Great Taste 2018- Finalist Blas na hÉireann 2017

Raspberry & Vanilla Jam. Fresh tingling Wexford raspberries mingle with pure Madagascan bourbon vanilla pods to make this a truly spectacular jam. Perfect on toast, on scones, in yoghurt or desserts.

Winner - Gold- Blas na hÉireann 2018/ Great Taste 2017

Rockin Rosehip. Rich in Vitamins C, A, B1, B2, B3 and Vitamin K. Rocking Rosehip is as good on toast as it is a cheeseboard. Warm and drizzle over ice cream, pancakes, yoghurt or rice pudding.

  • blackberries (65%), sugar (pectin, citric acid), spiced rum
  • goosebberries (60%), sugar (pectin, citric acid), oranges, lemon, ginger
  • raspberries (60%), sugar (pectin, citric acid), vanilla pods

Storage

Store in a cool dry place, refrigerate after opening.

Wild About

A few years ago, in their house in South London, Malcolm and Fiona Falconer stuck a pin in a map of Ireland and decided to jump ship, buying a smallholding in the outskirts of Monamolin, Co Wexford. After “going wild” with the planting, they soon had so much to harvest they started producing  jams, chutneys, relishes, syrups, pesto’s and much more! Before long, demand from family and friends snowballed and so... Wild About was born! Fiona and Malcolm source most of their ingredients locally - on their own doorstep in fact. What isn't foraged from their hedgerow is grown in their garden on their smallholding in Monamolin. Wild About was born out of a love of wild, seasonal foods... They even supply us with Nettle Pesto!
