Dec's Hot Honey is a brand new addition to the Rivesci line-up! And one which Declan is so excited about. :)

It's unreal on pizza, breaded chicken tenders, sublime with a cheeseboard and straight off the spoon.

Perfect for BBQ weather and the many sunny days ahead.

Their Irish made hot honey has been turning heads and warming hearts since they launched earlier this year. So much so that O'Donnells Crisps were inspired to launch their new Hot Honey Fusion flavour in collaboration with Rivesci.

Sustainability note: The soybean paste (miso) used in Dec's Hot Honey is a by-product of their Smoked Chilli Oil. Rivesci try their best to minimise the food waste produced on-site by reusing it in creative ways!

Ingredients List

Single Origin Honey (EU), habanero, Irish Apple Cider Vinegar, Soybean Paste (Miso) (infused with cold pressed Irish Rapeseed Oil, garlic, single origin honey (EU), ginger, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, Irish sea salt, herbs and spices.)

the story of the producer

Rívesci

Rívesci (ree-vess-ee) launched in September 2019 at Clonmel Applefest offering cooked from scratch dishes from their 1976 vintage caravan.

Co-Founders Shannon Forrest and Michelin Star trained Chef, Declan Malone felt that opening a food truck in the off-peak season might be a little mad but it didn’t stop them. After spending many months researching and working on their menu offering they found there was a huge appetite for what they wanted to do. Successfully trading at Savour Kilkenny, Applefest Abbeyleix, Ballymaloe and Dunbrody House, Rívesci wished to set up a more permanent basis in Clonmel, and up until mid March 2020 traded at the Quay Car Park and Clonmel Farmer’s Market every week. During the first COVID-19 lockdown Rívesci pivoted their business to become full time condiment makers and for the time being, no longer appear at festivals or markets. This will change in the future so be sure to stay tuned!
