The Apple Farm

The Apple Farm near Cahir is known far and wide for its fruits and juices. Con Traas and his family have been growing strawberries, raspberries, plums, cherries, apples and pears there for 45 years, and have been making juices, using their fruits for nearly twenty years. In 2013, an orchard of three thousand trees was planted, bringing to more than seventy, the number of fruit varieties grown on the farm. Ever the innovators they have launch two sparkling lemonades of which we are huge fans, fruity, refreshing and full of goodness, they are perfect to pop in a basket for a summer’s picnic.
