Halley Berry Fruit Farm
Mairead Halley has a long association supplying Ardkeen with high quality succulent produce from her small holding fruit farm just across the river in Newrath, Waterford. A daily delivery in the summer months means incredibly low food-miles (about 15mins from tree to store) of the freshest raspberries, gooseberries, plums, damsons and greengages. Of course all are seasonal produce but we try to ensure stock of frozen fruits for the winter months, to tide us over for the summer’s bounty. We also use her fruit in our juice bar - fresh within season and frozen during the winter!
