Raw almonds have very low levels of sugar and calories - they rank amongst the lowest-calorie nuts out there. They also have huge levels of calcium, so they are great for anyone who is vegan or vegetarian and can’t consume milk (maybe make some homemade almond milk?).
Raw almonds contain high quantities of monounsaturated fats, the heart-healthy ones, which means they are an excellent source of the fats your body needs and can digest properly unlike artificial or saturated fats. There is a lot of protein in there, as well as high levels of dietary fibre.
