The story of Hovis Begins in 1886 with a miller named Richard 'Stoney' Smith from Macclesfield, Chesire who radically changed the way flour was milled. Our wholemeal flour uses the whole of the wheat grain, combining the fibre rich outer layer, the energy packed middle and the nutritious heart of the wheat, for delicious goodness with every bite.
