Pioneers of Austrian organic wine-growing since the mid 70’s, Winery Diwald is a family run operation with Hans & Paula Diwald and their son Martin Diwald producing in the Wagram wine region. They pursue a minimalist approach to making wine. All the wines are harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously, without the addition of yeasts. There is no sulfurization before fermentation, only a slight administration (10 - 30 ppm) at the turn of the year and before bottling. Mature, spicy, creamy yet light-footed, all that is so typical for Grüner Veltliner and Löss. A charming, inviting wine that can accompany a wide range of dishes like cold meats, salads, light vegetable dishes and fish. Also a great choice with Thai and Vietnamese food.
