An infusion of Forest Mix Mushrooms are blended with lentils, toasted walnuts, butter, garlic, brandy, thyme, salt, black pepper and white vinegar to make a spreadable pate. Pâté is so versatile. It can simply be served on bread or crackers, as part of a cheese platter, as a dip, it can spice up a jacket pototo, or stuffed into peppers and tomatoes, it will greatly enhance an everyday sandwich or salad or topped on a steak or grilled lamb. 

Other Serving Suggestions

  • Spread on a baguette, crackers or on sliced toasted bread. Add to your sandwiches for a fresh, unexpected burst of flavour.
  • Stuff peppers or tomatoes to create a quick, delicious snack.
  • Top grilled steak or lamb with the pâté to add delectable flavours to your meat.

What began as a hobby in 1998 has turned into the only specialist in the region to cultivate edible exotic and gourmet mushrooms.  Their exotic and gourmet mushrooms are all naturally grown to the highest standards without using chemicals, pesticides or animal by products. Having spent over 20 years growing mushrooms, their team are veterans in this sector and we believe with their experience they are currently growing the best tasting and best looking varieties of exotic mushrooms available.

They have won awards from both the Great Taste Awards in the UK and at home with Blas na hEireann for their mushrooms and products.

The Wexford grown gourmet mushrooms are so versatile for breakfast to dinner menus, special diets and diabetics. A truly splendid combination of flavours and textures that are low in salt and cholesterol and naturally rich in protein, fibre, minerals and vitamins. They can be eaten as a started, part of a main course, soup, risotto, sauce or as a meat substitute for vegetarians – mushrooms are magic!
