Trish Deseine’s Easy Christmas Canapés (Sweet)

They come in all shapes and forms, are a perfect one or two bite size, do not go soggy and taste good enough without being cardboard-ish underneath all sorts of delectable Christmas nibbles. Method

Big Red Kitchen butterscotch and Wilkies chocolate ganache tartelettes

Spoon a little butterscotch sauce  into the tartelettes, filling to about 1/3 to half the shell. Melt the chocolate over a bain marie with just a knob of butter to make it slightly softer to bite into once cooled.

Pour or spoon over the butterscotch sauce and leave to cool. Sprinkle with a little Maldon salt and serve.  

 

Ciara's Pantry raspberry and white chocolate tartelettes with white chocolate shards and raspberries

Spoon Ciara’s Pantry white chocolate and raspberry sauce into the tartelettes. Garnish with fresh raspberries and  white chocolate shards.

 

Apple creams with Glenilen clotted cream and grated nutmeg

Make your own stewed apples or cheat and use little pots of super fresh and pure Clotilde's apple puree! Top with a little touch of whipped cream or Glenilen clotted cream or crème fraiche and a touch of grated nutmeg.
