Old Macdonnell's Farm

Old MacDonnell's Farm is the family owned and run business of Brian and Wendy MacDonnell and their children Paddy and Lucy. Established in the early 80’s Old McDonnell’s has gained a reputation as producers of superlative quality yoghurt, soft cheese from cows and goats milk, Tzatziki and hummus. Market leaders in many ways, the MacDonnell family were the first to introduce live 100% natural yoghurt and first to produce live bio yoghurt in Ireland, advocated by many hospitals and consultants throughout the country because of the balance of four different bacteria within each pot of yoghurt, each one is beneficial to different parts of the intestinal tract. The MacDonnell’s are a wonderful example of combining a family, farming, innovation and holistic wellbeing.
