This bottle contains a unique Rare Apple Ice Wine made with juice from our rare apples, concentrated using freezing temperatures and slowly thawed. this creates a beautiful, deep and rich must which is slowly fermented for a year and stopped before completion, leaving half of the apple sugars intact.....nothing is added.
It is a world first in that its made mainly from bittersweet cider apples, and the 1st Irish Ice Wineever sold. Killahora has waited 200 years to fulfil its true destiny to make this.

Founded by two cousins, Barry Walsh and Dave Watson, Killahora Orchards is a family business founded on an estate dating back to 1750, with the goal of growing the best rare apple and pear varieties on Irish soil and to use artisanal techniques to turn them into award winning drinks. Everything is handmade on site with 100% fresh juice and we take our time, allowing their products to mature for up to a year to achieve the most complexity of flavour.
