Goat's milk contains precious skin minerals like selenium and it is loaded with vitamins and particular vitamin A as well as lactic acid, which helps to gently remove dead skin cells and helps to hydrate and brighten skin. The added honey also has a long list of great properties for skin, one of the main ones being its antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, making it great not only for dry and damaged skin but also for acne, as it helps to kill off the bacteria that can be the underlying cause of the acne.
As a shampoo it helps to cool and calm a troubled scalp, in the most gentle way possible. Due to the naturally occurring sugars it has a great lather in the shower. The luxurious raw silk helps to keep your hair moisturized, soft and free from tangles, a great way to keep your hair protected from processed like drying and styling!
Janni Bar's founder Janni Sjostrand, originally from Sweden, handmakes all her soaps from her home in Kildare. Inspired to reduce plastic waste Janni started making her own bars with minimal and plastic-free packing and using all natural ingredients. Filled with rich nourishing oils like cocoa butter, coconut, olive, sweet almond, jojoba and Irish rapeseed oils, all bars are made with natural ingredients, cruelty free, palm oil free and vegetarian, they are also 100% biodegradable. Beautifully packaged, they also make a really lovely gift!
