8 Degrees Full Irish Single Malt IPA is a hoppy fruit bomb with hints of lime, melon and lychee, a biscuity malt base and a rounded bitter-sweet aftertaste. The Full Irish has won numerous awards including a silver medal at the 2017 Dublin Beer Cup, being named Best IPA in Ireland at the 2016 World Beer Awards and Beer of the Year 2015 by independent consumer group Beoir.

Tasting notes
Colour/appearance: pours a pale gold colour, with lovely white head. Medium carbonation.
Aroma: lots of hops! It’s a hop bomb with citrus and floral characters, grapefruit at the fore with hints of lime, melon and lychees.
Flavour: hoppy fruit with a biscuity malt body.
Aftertaste: rounded bitterness that cleanes the palate with a lingering sweetness from the single malt, preparing the palate for the next sip.

    Eight Degrees Brewery

Following their hearts to Ireland, New Zealander Scott Baigent, and Australian Cameron Wallace, founded Eight Degrees Brewing in 2010 - an award-winning independent Irish craft brewery, passionate about producing exciting and adventurous beers using only natural ingredients. The name comes from the fact that Ireland is located at eight degrees west longitude, and it also happens to be the perfect serving temperature for their beer. Eight Degrees beers have unique characters, which even translates to the description on the bottles; Sunburnt Irish Red: “Like an Irishman on holidays in the Canaries, this beer has a red tint with a chilled out mellow feel,” Other beers include Howling Gale Ale, Knockmealdown Porter and Barefoot Bohemian Pilsner. The seasonal A Winter’s Ale was developed using a custom-made spice blend from one of Ardkeen's other food heroes Green Saffron, also located in Cork. Artisan supporting artisan…that’s what we like to see.
