The Sea Gardener

Marie Power, aka, The Sea Gardener is passionate about seaweed - foraging for it, cooking with it, sharing her knowledge and experience with others, sustainably using it, recognising that it is part of an important and quite amazing ecological web. Marie grew up on the Copper Coast of Co. Waterford and leads walks, give talks and workshops on seaweed and now produces natural foods which incorporate Irish certified organic seaweed including Almond & Orange and Coconut & Lime bars as well as a Mushroom & Black Olive Caponata which contains Kelp, Dilisk, Sea lettuce and Sargassum.
