Wild Oats soaps are made by Karen in Lismore, Co Waterford - not too far away from us here in Ardkeen! This Lavender and Rosemary soap much as home in the kitchen as in the washroom. Waterford oats are finely hand crushed to provide gentle exfoliation, while lavender and rosemary revive and revitalise the hardest working skin. Karen says... "Oats have been used on the skin for over 4000 years and there’s a lot more to the humble oat than a fantastic breakfast cereal. Not only do oats provide a natural form of skin nourishment and protection, but they soothe and clean the skin too. It’s all down to each oat flake’s combination of lubricating oils, gentle anti-inflammatory properties and elements called ‘Saponins’ which gently remove dirt from skin pores. Like of all our ingredients, only the best will do, that’s why we chose Flahavans Organic Oats, made right here in Co. Waterford. Just some of the reasons why we are wild about oats in all of our soaps!"
