Our current offering:

Rívesci [Tipperary]

Rívesci (ree-vess-ee) launched in September 2019 by Declan Malone [Michelin Star Trained Chef] & Shannon Forrest offering cooked from scratch dishes from their 1976 vintage caravan. During the first COVID-19 lockdown the pair pivoted their business to become full time condiment makers! These are condiments that will elevate your plate...try them on eggs, sourdough sandwiches, stir fry, pizza, toasties, burger and on tapas boards.

Lilliput Trading [Dublin]

Irish owned and run, Lilliput specialises in both Irish and Mediterranean artisan foods. This balsamic vinegar is produced in Modena, Italy in accordance with the strict mandates of IGP classification. Its unique characteristics and flavour profile develop over a 12-year maturation period, with an additional 60 days of bottle ageing. Containing only vinegar and cooked grapes must. An exquisite complement to grilled meat and fish.

Isle of Crackers [Wexford]

Tim Nickerson and his family have been baking a delicious range of flaxseed crackers in their tiny north Wexford bakery since 2014. Each heart shaped cracker is mixed, rolled, cut and packaged by hand which makes them a truly artisan product. The crackers are slow baked using delicious seeds and Irish cold pressed rapeseed oil from Co Wicklow. Tasty, healthy & heart shaped!

Grantstown nurseries [Waterford]

Located just 5 km from our store, the Currid family has supplied Ardkeen Quality Food Store with tomatoes since 1979 from their one hectare of modern glasshouses. Tomatoes destined for the Ardkeen customers are harvested daily and delivered with the minimum of food miles and are all grown without the use of insecticides.

Ballycross apple farm [Wexford]

Established by Michella and Arnold Von Englebrechtan in Bridgetown Co.Wexford in the early 1960s, now the farm is run by their son Christian who is equally passionate about the quality of their juices, and therefore only grows apple varieties of exceptional flavour and texture. We stock not only the wonderful Ballycross juice range but also depending on the season, many of their apple varieties and fantastically big pumpkins from October onwards.

Walsh's bakehouse [Waterford]

Michael and Dermot Walsh are third generation bakers, their grandfather Patrick was head baker at Boland’s mills in Dublin, then having survived as a POW in Germany in WW1 he returned to start his own business in Waterford, eventually also becoming a miller and passing down his skills to numerous members of the Walsh family. His grandsons started Walshe’s Bakehouse over 30 years ago, where they strive for excellence in baking traditional breads and are proud to be one of the makers of the Waterford Blaa (PGI), one of Ireland’s protected foods.

Nutshed [Tipperary]

Evie & Eliza, food makers, sisters and the owners of Nutshed, grew up knowing all about food seasonality and provenance, thanks to their Irish food champion parents, Peter and Mary Ward, who own Country Choice in Nenagh. These are fabulous pots of goodness and include no added oil, especially not palm oil! Slather it onto treats, use it in your cooking – from porridge to satays to rice bowls or like us topping our toast with banana and raw honey. Edible heaven!

Hassetts Bakery [Cork]

Michael Hassetts’ passion for baking developed during his time working across Europe, as a trained chef in the early 80s. On returning to Ireland in 1984, Michael started his own bakery based in Douglas, Cork. They hold many awards, including Blas na hEireann, Great Taste Award, Artisan Business of the Year and Best Cork Export Business.

Planté [Waterford]

Based in the seaside town of Tramore, founder Katarzyna Cichy Planté has a love for cooking but only started commercially producing her recipes during lockdown! Katarzyna specialises in making plant-based food: pâté, dips, and spreads. This delicious, plant-based Walnut Pate achieved a Gold at the Blas na hEireann food awards last year.

Bride Valley Cheese [Waterford]

Eamonn Lonergan is a true artisan, displaying a rare and wonderful passion for cheese-making. His cheese is carefully handcrafted from full cream cow’s milk produced from the Lonergan farm’s own Pedigree Friesian herd. Bride Valley’s simple, subtle flavour, and rich creamy texture offers a real taste of the country. It comes flavoured with spices and herbs such as black pepper and chives or horseradish & rosemary. We’ve had the pleasure of Eamonn demonstrating his cheese making instore, displaying a passion for food and its provenance that is nothing short of inspiring.

Azouro Mackerel fillets [Portugal]

Prepared, canned and packaged by hand in Matosinhos (fishing port), Northern Portugal, combining traditional Portuguese methods with modern technologies and the highest quality standards. 100% pure and premium quality mackerel fillets in organic extra virgin olive oil and lemon thyme.
