Pure Food Company

Waterford based Cian Hawes of Pure Food Company is a qualified horticulturist, which has obviously influenced his love of growing and cooking amazing food. With a real passion for provenance and sustainability, Cian makes a range of pestos, sauces and preserves using locally grown organic fruit and veg and a selection of native wild plants. You can expect really interesting, intense flavours from his award-winning produce which includes Tomato & Chili Harissa, Spinach and Basil Pesto, Wild Rocket Pesto, Sundried tomato and Chilli pesto and Sundried tomato and Basil Pesto to name a few. You can also sample Cian's culinary skills every Friday instore as he hosts a 'Pop-Up' take-away lunch offering, featuring some fantastic taste and texture in the form of fresh salads and hot tagines/stews with options for both the meat lover and vegan.
