
We are searching for a skilled, experienced baker who will work as a part of a team to provide consistently excellent baked items for sale instore:
Main duties will include:
- Preparing baked products from scratch for overnight proofing or finished and ready for sale
- Production planning, batch control, stocktaking, record keeping
- Maintaining the highest level of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Ensuring stock and working environment are in a suitable condition for subsequent production shift
- Additionally, developing and improving recipes together with performing quality
- checks on ingredients and finished products
The ideal candidate will have:
- A passion and interest in good food
- A proven ability to produce quality bread and more specifically sourdough
- Good working knowledge of the HACCP process
- The ability to multitask and work as part of a team
A full 39-hour week is involved in this role and flexibility of attendance is required to ensure that customer demand is met on a seven-day basis.
Weekend, early morning and evening work is required.
The rate of pay for the role will be determined by the skill and experience of the successful applicant.
